A Trans Maldivian Airways Twin Otter floatplane collided with a resort bungalow during takeoff.

Local media outlet Aviators Maldives says the incident, which occurred on 13 November, involved one of the airline’s De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Series 300 Twin Otters.

The aircraft was taking off when its wing collided with a seaside bungalow at Finolhu resort, located on Kanifushi Island Baa Atoll, the report says, adding that no passengers or crew suffered any major injuries.

Trans Maldivian Airways is a seaplane operator based at Velana International Airport in Malé, Maldives that provides transfer services between resort islands.
